Simonswood Automation was originally formed in 1969 as an electrical and instrumentation contracting company based in Knowsley Industrial Park in Liverpool, by Doug Tate. The company ownership passed to Doug’s son Andy Tate some thirty years later, upon Doug’s retirement. From this date the company has progressively developed to encompass process control automation systems, providing engineering services including Electrical Design, Software, Panel Build and Installation.
With a background of experience and expertise that encompasses everything from a simple control panel to complex distributed automatic control systems, Simonswood Automation has a proven reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.
Simonswood Automation focus is on providing an engineering service that meets or exceeds the customer’s requirements. The engineering staff are fully trained in each area of their work, and pride themselves in the standards of their product. It is that effort and dedication that provides Simonswood Automation with its primary aim, which is sales based upon repeat business.
